Baking a Cottage Cheese Cake
It’s amazing what you can do with a Brie cheese. The Emperor at the time, tasted the cheese in the city of Brie around the year 774 BC. And here’s another interesting tidbit about Brie cheese… Louis XVI’s last and dying wish was supposedly to have a final taste of Brie.
Setting up a wine and cheese party doesn’t involve a whole lot of work by the host. Setting up the party room is dictated by a couple of things. The amount of space available and the rooms shape. When you set up the tables, think simple and elegant. The cheeses should be labeled with information about the flavor or any other interesting facts, such as age.
The cottage cheese diet is often seen as yet another warming trend diet that’s just a fad which is not effective for most people. Still others have used this food as an alternative dessert and they love the flavor. The cottage cheese diet has many variations and cheese types, one example promises to let you lose weight in just 3 days. The versatile, filling food supplies them with both protein and the much-needed calcium that they sometimes don’t get enough of as they eat their high protein foods.
Most of us don’t eat the healthy diet we should and want to do better. The FDA has developed the food pyramid to help people learn how to eat the right combination of foods to have a healthier lifestyle. The regular processed variety is 4% fat but you can go with a low fat version that only has 2% fat.
Most of the other cheese are dehydrated and have color but when it comes to cottage cheese, it retains its whey content since it is only drained but not dry pressed. Perhaps this might also explain for it being a favorite of President Nixon who loved to eat it with catsup or black pepper (or both). This much quantity of this cheese is sufficient to make you feel filled or satisfied.
