You’ll get a great price and because you know what is selling on eBay you know you can resell it for a profit! Habitat for Humanity ReStore/Goodwill! Some think it is a bad thing to go buy from these places and resell for a profit, I think if you can manage to do so more power to you! Beware, prices may be higher than at a yard sale.
Pawn Shop! This is one resource that very few people use. The fact of the matter is you can get some amazing deals visiting these places. Most the time Pawn Shops only give loans for 25% of the retail value of an item. Say that is a game system worth $400. If they give a $100 loan on it, you can offer to buy the product for $200 and they make a profit of $100 and you can resell it for $300, making you a profit of $100 as well and the final recipient still getting 25% off the original retail! Be sure you learn how Pawn Shops work, the better you can haggle the more profits you can make this way. This is where I have had most of my success!.
The above mentioned ways for teenagers to make money are more or less a home based business, with zero or low start up cost to the teenagers. By offering their services in exchange for money, they are being trained in the real society, not just theory in school classes.
They are exposed to the world of business at an early age, which is an extremely good way for teenagers to have a chance to learn about business, finances and time management that ultimately prepare them for their future jobs and careers.
